The DAR Good Citizens Award and Scholarship Contest, created in 1934, is intended to encourage and reward the qualities of good citizenship, recognizing and rewarding high school seniors who possess the qualities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism in their homes, schools, and communities. Students are selected by their teachers and peers.

Due to today's power outage, we are taking measures to ensure student safety during dismissal. All walkers and bus riders will be escorted either off school grounds or to busses. All car riders can be picked up at Sterling Elementary starting at 2:00 through the Sterling Car Rider lane. Sterling elementary will dismiss at normal time. Please note, Gay Street is closed in front of WMS.

Warrensburg School District hosted regional superintendents for a Personnel Workshop sponsored by the Missouri Association of School Administrators. Members of our administrative team and administrators in our region came together to learn about best practices for school employment. We appreciate the partnership with MASA and EdCounsel so we can learn together!
