The Warrensburg R-VI Board of Education is among 31
Missouri school boards that recently earned the Missouri School Boards’
Association’s 2024 Governance Team Award. This prestigious
award is based on the outstanding commitment of the school
board and superintendent to ongoing professional development in
effective governance practices. The award also recognizes their
commitment to regional and statewide leadership and to active
participation in legislative advocacy for public schools and the
students they serve.
The school boards and superintendents receiving the award
were recognized during MSBA’s Summer Summit held June 24 -
25 in Branson.
Board members Gary Grigsby and Tom McCormack were presented with the award for the Warrensburg School District.

Congrats to WMS student, Arianna Randall, on being published in the MAEA Coloring Book! She was one of the few who were chosen out of several entries across the state of Missouri to be put into this year's book. #tigerpride

Missouri S&T's STEM Mobile visited Martin Warren today. The giant inflatable planetarium was on display, and students rotated through different stations. What a great experience for our students! #tigerpride

Congratulations to Sarah Randolph and Darla Christiansen (current employees) who graduated from UCM this weekend with a Bachelor of Science in Special Education! Yesterday, Ridge View Elementary held an assembly to kick off the countdown to their field day on May 20. The theme is board games. Mr. Burris drew prizes for students who had collected 100 points in his class throughout the school year. Four teachers were chosen to play Twister, and the winner won a prize for their classroom. Mrs. Laws was the winner.
This year, Ms. Snell's Teaching Professions class has hosted 13 district employees as guest speakers. The students learned about the various careers in our district and why our staff chose to be in education. The class wrapped up guests with Mr. Prael yesterday, who reminded students to always do what they love and to always give back to their community. #tigerpride

The students from the school of San José from Fuensalida, Spain, are visiting our students in Warrensburg HS. These students have been communicating with Spanish 1 students through a pen pal project from Maestra Reed’s class. The students from Spain are staying with our Warrensburg students, giving them the opportunity to experience American students' lives. This project not only helps students practice the language but also expands students’ cultural knowledge. #tigerpride

The Concert Band and Honors Symphonic Band will hold their Finale Concert tonight! Join us for an evening of music starting at 7:00 p.m. in the WHS Lecture Room.
Tiger Baseball will take on the Center Yellowjackets at home starting at 4:30 p.m. tonight. Tonight is also Senior Night, and seniors will be celebrated between games. Come out to cheer on your Tigers!
The MRVC West Track & Field Meet will be held at home today. Field events start at 4:00 p.m., and running events start at 5:00 p.m.
JV Tiger Tennis will host the Ray-Pec Panthers today! Matches start at 4:00 pm!
