Out of 500 applicants, Warrensburg High School student Matthew Tye and seven others were selected through AFRL to intern at Whiteman Airforce Base this summer alongside 14 total interns. He had the chance to work on various projects for the B-2 bomber, mainly focused on designing, improving, and manufacturing specialty tools. His work involved CAD design, 3D printing, and testing.
Matthew said, "It was an incredible learning experience. I contributed to projects like the Nose Wheel Steering indicator, Tailpipe Jig Cart, Fuels C Style Torque adapter, and Proportions actuator shaft."

Routes 15 and 16 have been split and a new bus route has been created due to overcrowding. The new permanent Route #30 will start running this afternoon 8/29. The new Route stops and times will be posted as soon as they are available. Each building has a list of students on Route 30. Thank You

The Warrensburg R-VI Board of Education is among 31
Missouri school boards that recently earned the Missouri School Boards’
Association’s 2024 Governance Team Award. This prestigious
award is based on the outstanding commitment of the school
board and superintendent to ongoing professional development in
effective governance practices. The award also recognizes their
commitment to regional and statewide leadership and to active
participation in legislative advocacy for public schools and the
students they serve.
The school boards and superintendents receiving the award
were recognized during MSBA’s Summer Summit held June 24 -
25 in Branson.
Board members Gary Grigsby and Tom McCormack were presented with the award for the Warrensburg School District.
