If you are Retired or Resigned from the Warrensburg R-VI School District at the end of the school year 2022-2023, September 1, 2023, you may sub for the district and not before then.

• Teacher, Paraprofessional, Teacher Aide, RN, LPN, and CNA substitute rate is $14.50 an hour.

• Support substitute: Kitchen, Lunch Aide, Health Clerk, Custodian, Secretary, Adventure Club rate is $12.00 an hour.

Applying
Substitute Teachers must have at least 36 hours of college credit and a valid substitute certificate issued by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).

An alternative way to receive your Substitute Teacher Certificate:
A Content Substitute certificate may NOW be granted to an individual who has successfully completed a minimum of twenty (20) clock hours of department-approved substitute teacher training. Technical assistance for any issues or questions regarding the online training is available on Frontline’s Learning Center Website. The cost for the full set of courses required to meet the Missouri substitute teaching requirement is $180 plus any applicable taxes.

Fingerprint Background Check Information
The Department of Education requires that a fingerprint background check be done on all new substitutes. After you have submitted your substitute application, you can schedule your fingerprinting appointment online through the MACHS Fingerprint Portal using the following registration number: 1133. More information can be found by clicking this document. Clearance must be completed before beginning work. The cost for this background check is $41.75. (If you have completed a fingerprint background check in the past 12 months, you do not need to be fingerprinted again.)

The Warrensburg School District, upon employment, utilizes E-Verify to validate the ability of new employees to work legally in the United States.
