"Helping prepare motivated responsible lifelong learners"

The Warrensburg Area Career Center is a technical training center serving both youth and adults from a broad range of geographic area by providing technical instruction and skill training in trade, technical and health occupations.  The instructional programs are designed to prepare persons for employment and to upgrade the skills and knowledge of persons who have already entered the labor force.

Understandably, the immediate goal of a technical program is to provide graduates with stable skills and related technical information for entry positions in industry, business or health related areas.  However, continuing education through further schooling or training in a related field should not be overlooked and encouragement should be given each student to reach the fullest potential of their ability and desire.

Education is a continuous, ongoing process.  We believe that persons of all ages in this community should have ready access to high quality training for initial skills or for upgrading purposes based on their needs, interests, and ability to benefit from such training.  Education never ends for those who are eager to learn.

The Warrensburg Area Career Center proudly serves Johnson County secondary students from Chilhowee, Crest Ridge, Holden, Kingsville, Knob Noster, Leeton and Warrensburg as well as post-secondary students in Cosmetology and Practical Nursing.
