The WHS Class is celebrating their 15-year reunion in true Homecoming style!
Friday, September 30
Let's cheer on the WHS football team in the Tiger Stadium as we take on the Clinton Cardinals. Pre-game show is at 6:30 pm; kick-off at 7:00 pm. We will have a section in the stadium near the 50-yard line reserved for our class so we can sit together. Please come early as the stadium is typically packed for the WHS Homecoming game.
Wondering what to do for dinner prior to the game? The WHS Band Aides is hosting a Chili Supper beginning at 4:00 pm in the Sterling Elementary cafeteria. (Sterling Elementary is located at the corner of Gay St. and Burkarth Rd., right next to the stadium.)
After the game, celebrate with us at the Alumni and Friends Homecoming After-Party at Players Restaurant Lounge (627 East Russell Ave.) in the lower-level banquet room. The party will feature music by DJs Cameron and Sherri Beck, free appetizers while they last, door prizes, and a cash bar -- plus lots of lively conversation as we get reacquainted.
Saturday, October 1
Wake up bright and early and head for Applebee's Restaurant (255 East Cooper Avenue) where we will hold a Pancake Breakfast to raise money for our class' Laura Culp-Botgat Memorial Scholarship. We will be serving breakfast from 8:00 am to 10:00 am. Tickets are $7 each and available at the door. Please invite your friends and family to join us at Applebee's for breakfast!
Join us Saturday evening at 7:00 pm for our "official" reunion held at Heroes Restaurant and Pub (107 West Pine Street). Cost for the event is $17, payable at the door. We hope to see you there!
