What is Prezi? Prezi (http://prezi.com) is a fresh way to create presentations. Prezi is a Web 2.0 site that allows you to create a free account and also offers free teacher and student accounts that have more features. The best way to understand how Prezi is different from traditional presentations software is to look at an example. Here is an example that does a nice job of explaining the benefits of Prezi. Be sure to explore this one as you go through it. In other words, don't restrict yourself only to following the presentation in a linear fashion. Zoom in on the content in the gray boxes and explore on your own before advancing to the next part of the presentation. How to Create a Great Prezi Below are a few examples of engaging Prezi presentations: 30 Things About Me Gas Laws Mixing Mind and Metaphor And you can find many more examples on the Prezi Site (be sure to click on the Explore tab). Tutorials for using Prezi: There are some good tutorials for using Prezi on the Prezi web site. On this site you can watcht several instructional videos or read the illustrated "cheat sheets." There are also at least twelve videos on the Prezi YouTube Channel. And here is the interactive online Prezi manual.
