Wow, it's time for the Hour of Code! Next week, promotes computer science learning for all with several activities. How would you like to learn one of the most popular programming languages in the world by making music? (Christmas Carols, perhaps??) EarSketch is a free web-based program that allows you to do just that! Create your own music from a library of sounds by Young Guru (Jay Z’s audio engineer) and Richard Devine, or record or upload your own sounds. You don't need to know anything about music or coding to get started. Happy Coding!

Wow, Thanksgiving is next week! Time for some animal fun. Thanks to Russell, here's a very cool 20 questions game to Guess the Animal-- could it be a turkey? Or is it a platypus? You'll have to play to find out! This would be a great way for students to practice their questioning and researching techniques, too. You will need to use the Chrome browser, and if your computer or Android device does not have a built-in microphone, you'll need to use an external mic or headset. Happy Guessing! And Happy Thanksgiving!
